The friction type heavy-duty clutch engages with air pressure and is spring-released when the air is exhausted. The torque is linear in response to when air pressure is applied.

The heavy-duty clutch is designed for horizontal mounting. It slides on the shaft and is fixed with set screws and a key. An anti-rotation arm is needed to prevent the rotation of the air-housing. If a vertical mounting is needed, please speak to your engineer for the options.

MACH III's heavy duty clutches are suitable for connect/disconnect and cycling applications.
