Dellner disc brakes, the SKP 140, are hydraulic and spring applied that offers a reliable linear or rotary motion braking and a braking force of 26200 N - 113600 N.

Made of two symmetrical halves the brake can be supplied without a support and with a support, when the brakes are adjusted for a 12 - 30 mm thick brake disc. With thicker discs the brakes are supplied with spacers.

Each of halves of the brake contains two cylindrical guide pins that transmit force from the brake lining to the brake housing and support.

This means any radial forces on the pistons are minimised and gives the brake a longer working life.

When pressure is applied the two springs on each brake half retract the pads from the brake disc. To compensate for wear of the brake lining and to maintain full brake capacity the disc spring pack must be adjusted.

The SKP 140 is equipped with “Easy Adjustment-arrangement”. The adjustment nut within the SKP 140 disc brake piston offers a visual way to know when an adjustment is required.

The SKP 140 disc brakes can be also be equipped with switches that will show the brake's ON/OFF and/or in need of adjustment.
