Comintec say their flexible couplings transfer motion between two shafts on the same axis while accounting for possible misalignments. The manufacturer has numerous styles of flexible couplings that are suitable for a wide range of applications.
Their use of quality materials and precise design gives a longer lasting performance and reliability in the most complex applications.
The GTR is a torsionally rigid disc coupling that offers an angular and backlash-free transfer of motion. With a maximum torque of 30000 Nm – max. bore ø 140 mm - it is made from fully turned steel with standard treatment in phosphate. The disc pack is made of stainless steel giving it a high torsional rigidity.
Upon request it can be used in applications with high operation temperatures reaching up to 150 °C. It can also be made in customised versions for your specific transmission needs. And can also be connected to Comintec's torque limiters.
