Dellner Disc Brakes | SKD 35

The SKD range of disc brakes made by Dellner Brakes includes the SKD 35 that offer hydraulic/air-pressure applied, spring-released units.

Its braking force, reaching up  up to 8000 N, is directly proportional to the applied pressure. The SKD 35 model is made of two symmetrical halves that accommodate a standard disc thickness of 12 mm. For use with thicker brake discs, the SKD 35 disc brakes can be supplied with spacers. Each brake half has two cylindrically shaped guide pins that transmit the tangential braking force from the brake pad to the brake housing and mounting stand.

Therefore, the brake pistons are not subject to any radial forces and will increase the working life of the disc brake.
