Dellner Disc Brakes | SKD 35

The SKD 35 is made of hydraulic/air-pressure applied, spring-released units.

With a braking force reaching up  up to 8000 N, the SKD  offers force that is directly proportional to the applied pressure. It is made of two symmetrical halves that house a disc thickness of 12 mm. For use with thicker brake discs, this model of Dellner disc brake can be supplied with spacers. Each brake-half has two cylindrical guide pins, which push the tangential braking force from the brake pad to the brake housing and the mounting stand.

This means the brake pistons are not subject to radial forces and will increase the working life of the disc brake.
